Beehive Tours (Wellington)
- The beehive is the New Zealand Parliament building.
- To go on a tour around the parliament building is free and lasts 1-2 hours.
- It is open for 10:00-4:00 on weekdays (Monday through Friday),10.am-3.pm on Saturdays and most public holidays (but it is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, 2nd January, Waitangi Day, and Good Friday.) and 11.am-3.pm on Sundays. The beehive tour is a great tour to go on if you want to be a politician or you're interested in politics.
The Zoo (Auckland)
- The zoo is situated in Auckland and has the largest collection of native and exotic animals.
- It is $25 per person for a day pass. You can stay from 9:30-5:00 in Winter and 9:30-5:30 in Summer.
- You could also go on an orangutan experience and see them up close for $240 for a maximum of two people, this is not something you can see the rest of the zoo with.
Auckland Museum (Auckland)
- The museum fees are just a donation. ($10)
- It is open from 10:30-5:30 daily (Monday through Sunday) and the cafe is open from 9:30-5:30.
- There is a volcano area and there you get to experience a volcanic eruption and there is also a Maori Culture where you can learn about the Maori (native New Zealand Culture)
Giant Kiwi Fruit (Kiwi360) (Te Puke)
- Or you could go to Te puke and see a giant Kiwi Fruit and do a tour. The tours cost $20 for adults and $18 for students.
- The kiwifruit is open from 9:00-4:00 in Summer and 10:00-3:00 in Winter.
- The Kiwi360 was originally created in 1987 to give visitors to New Zealand information about the Kiwi Fruit.
Kelly Tarltons (Auckland)
- A single ticket to Kelly Tarltons is $36 for anyone over 16 years and over and $18 for anyone between the ages of 3-15 years.
- You can explore almost any sea animal from Penguins to Sharks.
- You can find out all the information and Scott and his team when they went to Antartica and see the things he took and a replica of the room.
